Frequency varies constantly
In a real power system, frequency changes from cycle to cycle. If you don't believe this, take a look at the horizontal movement in the following video, which shows a true waveform snapshot over several minutes.
Therefore, to successfully build effective control systems based on frequency, it is essential to be able to measure both very short-term variations as well as slower trends.
Set yourself apart from competitors
Boost the speed and strength of your existing BESS, PV, FACTS or Electromechanical System without increasing its capacity or size.
Open your products up to ancillary services, such as virtual inertia and FFR.
Your products will be able to react fully and safely 5 to 10 times faster, giving you a significant competitive advantage at minimal cost.
New technology for frequency measurement
Existing methods for frequency measurement are either precise or fast, but not both at the same time.
Our device incorporates a new patented technology that can deliver a complete set of measurement windows simultaneously, including an incredible one cycle for both frequency and ROCOF, as well as 5, 10, 25 and 50 cycles.
Furthermore, it provides uncertainty values for both frequency and ROCOF, as well as the quality of the ROCOF adjustment. This enables a comprehensive assessment during transients and oscillations.

Applications
- FFR (Fast Frequency Response).
- FCR (Frequency Containment Reserve).
- LFSM (Limited Frequency Sensitive Mode).
- Virtual Inertia.
- Anti-islanding.
- Frequency and ROCOF shedding.
